Filey Coble Landing

Located close to the RNLI lifeboat centre, amusements and beach huts, the Coble landing is the accessible slip-way to beach – and an un-official harbour point.

The Coble Landing, is also home to 7 traditional fishing cobles and around 24 boats. It is perfect accessible to walk up and down the coble landing at any point throughout the year.

When looking back in the history books of The Coble Landing it was suggested that in the 1880’s an estimated 180 fishing boats were located here. Typically the fisherman were trying to catch fish such as cod, haddock, crabs, and lobsters.
