Crescent Gardens

The Crescent Gardens in Filey is a beautiful area where so many people each day come to relax, unwind, go for a walk or be entertained with an event at the bandstand.

Also located in Crescent Gardens is The Wishing Well, and The Fishermen’s Bed sculpture.

History

In 1835 a solicitor named John Wilkes Unett bought the 7 acres and consequently built the Royal Crescent.

It officially opened in 1850 and is maintained each year for the public to enjoy.
