St Oswalds Church

St Oswals Church in Filey has stood proudly overlooking Filey Bay since when it was built in 1180 and is now a Grade 1 listed building.

It officially was completed in 1230 and is dedicated to St Oswald, who was the king of Northumberland – who earlier died in a battle in 641.

St Oswald’s Church welcomes all throughout the week from 10am to 4pm – however, it heavily relies on volunteers to keep it open.
